Bryce really fooled everyone in the NFL he was was 1st round talent. No the Panthers didn't break Bryce. He was never going to be a good NFL QB.

He could have been the greatest college QB ever and I still would have not even considered drafting him in the first round, maybe not even at all.

It’s literally a statistical anomaly if a QB of his size ends up being successful in the NFL.

    • Ok opening drives whatever,  I said a contributing factor as well. How many sustained drives have you seen where the defense gets a decent break? It’s early in the season. They will get it together. A much brighter spot imo than the offense. The saints also scored on every single god damn possession because defense couldn’t catch a decent breather on the sideline
    • we'll see dude, but I've been optimistic like this every year under Tepper until now and it's come back to bite me every single time. I'm trying ringo, I'm trying real hard to have any amount of optimism about this team/Morgan/Canales, but in the words of Jules from Pulp Fiction, that sh*t ain't the truth.
    • Manning looked that way initially and figured it out but Howell is very far from Manning's class of QB even when just comparing that college to pro jump. I know you are a Heel fan but the reasons to move on from Howell in Washington were sound.  Dropping him into another scenario where he doesn't have a team that can elevate him is probably very unlikely to work out. If you really want him to be successful, he needs to be riding the pine for a few seasons and getting up to speed. Behind a guy like Geno is a good place. He was a guy that made that later career jump.
