I see NO reason to start young again -  ever.   We know what he is and is not capable of at this point and being a winning NFL QB is not one of the things he is capable of.  Why keep attempting to make chicken salad out of chicken shite  and destroying the confidence of the rest of the team and fans in the process?  Why?  The ego of one fat bald man ?

      Because that's dishonest and the team would see right through it. Don't BS your players. It also sends a message of "Anyone is replaceable if they don't produce, even the supposed franchise QB." New regime is a meritocracy as opposed to Rhule's OOU BS.

      it was always obvious Bryce Young was going to greatly struggling in the type O Canales was going to want to run.  The looks and throws run against what Bryce Young is.  Talked about ever since the pairing was made.   I know I talked about it non-stop.  Bad marriages.  So that's why benching Bryce does nothing really to change the trajectory.  We don't have good people in charge.  Will be maybe get better QB from Dalton in Canales O? Sure.   But we are further behind than ever before at the QB spot....than we have in the Tepper era.  I keep saying it over and over.  The Tepper Era really is defined by a desperate idiot at BOA that botches the QB thing over and over and over.  And it is without question, he brings out the worst possible outcome for any QB.  Andy Dalton is likely not about to have a good time.  Maybe a good debut as new and different helps most people initially.  So I am prepared for a insane overreaction to Sunday.
