I approached him, shook his hand for being so bold, and tried to talk Panthers with him but he just shook his head and smiled. My kids pulled my attention away and that was the end of that interaction. I don’t know if he understood me, could hear me through all the wind, it was just a hat he found, or was just embarrassed. My wife thinks he didn’t understand English, but I think he was just embarrassed because it was just a hat he had to wear of a terrible team. 

There's a lot a guy could be contemplating up there on that bridge. Hopefully not THAT this early in the season, but you never know...

I've always thought it looks too much like a sticker on the helmet.  Really need to sear it in.  Like a Springfield cat.

      Hope Koch recovers (he’s stated numerous times he doesn’t like to be called “koochie”) soon. But he does not instill confidence in the crease. I don’t have any confidence in any of our goalies, healthy or not. Andersen when available gives us the best chance to win but he’s never available.    Team has to explore trade options soon.

      Respectfully, I completely disagree. Last year we were:  32nd in Sacks. 32nd in Turnovers.  32nd in Rushing TDs allowed  29th in Scoring.  We were absolutely atrocious on defense last year and that was with a full stable of weapons in Derek Brown, Frankie Luvu and Brian Burns that played all 17 games.  Using yards per game as a metric to guage our success lacks the context that because our offense was so inept teams were not driving the length of the field, they were starting at their 40-50 yard line.  This year, our Defense ranks:  31st in Sacks. Tied for 19th in Turnovers  31st in Rushing TDs allowed 32nd in Scoring  His defense fails to get pressure, fails to turn the ball over and fails to stop the run. Three things you absolutely have to do to be successful in the NFL.  Denver meanwhile has not missed a beat without him.  If another team wants to hire him as a HC and the Panthers get two 3rds for it I'll wish him the best and pack his bags myself.
