I dont know but if I paid a few billion for a company you can better damn well bet I will be having a meeting with my managerial staff once per week just to see how things are running. O realize he meddled in the past but as an owner I expect to be up to date on what the hell is going on with my company and a once per week meeting being updated by guys in charge is a great way to be in the loop. Nothing wrong with this in my eyes especially if im not telling the guys who know how to do the job how to do the job when it isnt my area of expertise. Now in those meetings if im telling the guys who know what they are doing how to do their jobs and what to do in terms of important decisions I know nothing about then by all means im meddling but who knows what that conversation entailed.

I could certainly be wrong but I think Canales and Morgan will tell Dave or have already told Dave that they can't win with Bryce.

Dan: "It's a big man's game"

Canales: "I want my QB to plant his foot and let it rip" ***Bryce is standing on tippy toes to see over the line

Dave Isn't stupid. Just a matter of time.

I trust Dan to make the right choices the least of anyone right now.

I don’t understand why people make such a big deal out of this. All coaches for every team meet with the owner sometime during the week. It isn’t abnormal.
This has never bothered me. But the Panthers media and fans seemed to think this is some big bad because they hate Tepper.
Not defending Tepper just think the reaction to these normal meetings with the OWNER of the team are overblown.

Because it’s a vehicle for Tepper to meddle. It also is a huge distraction for the coaches.

Let them focus on getting better instead of wasting energy making the boss feel better.

Some of the most stubborn people here have opened themselves to reconsidering, let's call it. Time is time, too. It ain't money. Time you can never get back.

Dave, it's time.

Agains coaches meet with the owner through the year. It is normal. Panthers fanbase seem to be the only one obsessed about a meeting.

that is simply not true, like at all.  We did this conversation last year.

For someone saying they are stepping back and let the football people do there thing and coming off a 2 win season, its pretty concerning the teppers are doing the exact same thing.

Agree to disagree. People make a big deal of nothing.

Because it was so bad last year and Reich was transparent early about that and those meetings. It's all about him meddling or micromanaging. If it was simi normal the meetings would be less frequent and more managerial. Don't know yet but I do want to see which way the wind is blowing now.

I am fairly certain most teams have the coach meet the owner weekly. We are not unique.

I am fairly certain it doesn't go like last year's did all that often. They also put a lot of effort into making it appear like he  is not involved on the football side.

The Panthers are the worst team in the NFL and have been since Tepper bought the team. They are very unique in that category.
