It's a long season.  There's still a chance Canales shows some potential.

I will say this. If it works out like that Young doesn't get a ton better, like totally change my mind, and they force us to watch him all year if we want to watch the game...

one word from them about fixing him and 2025, I am out for good. Like that minute. No more NFL. 

Canales gets the Bryce excuse treatment from me. I reserve the right to bitch about him some, but I'll be standing by the plan for this season. 

Free year to learn, then he is on probation the next year. If he 'behaves' that year, he is good.

Sit Young and put Dalton in. They will get a top pick regardless. Let Canales pick his guy out of the group and coach him up. As we all know, drafting a QB #1 doesn't mean crap anymore. 

If Canales is a QB "whisperer", then give him the guy he thinks will work for him. This fanbase needs a few wins at least to soften the last few years of suckage. Build the defense back up in the draft/FA  and move on.

I had the same thoughts. This years QB class is not top heavy it seems, I doubt that changes in the coming months. I was the first to call burrow the #1, i dont see him or version of him this class.

This panthers squad needs everthing but OG(wrong depth), whatever Dbrown plays. You could say horn, but the injuries forces you to look else where. 

The edge group looks great with 2-4 guys looking like #1. Morgan needs to hit on most picks and hope the 2023 picks show up in 2024 along side the draft haul. 

The team just needs young talent at EVERY SPOT and depth. Even if you draft well it should take 3 full years, my god this team is awful....

We had a number one pick and we're still looking for a QB. The offensive system can make a QB if he has all the prerequisite skills. i.e Purdy. This team sucks cause we are devoid of talent everywhere. We need to build on speed and talent. Its unfathomable how truly terrible Fitt was at his job. Its almost like he had no  experience whatsoever.......

As nobody should...we technically have 4 MONTHS of this. NOBODY is going to sit threw this that long another consecutive year. They can't expect anybody to do that.

Remember that year we drafted 3 QBs (2010; Jimmy, Armanti, that other guy) and 3 CBs (2016?) to replace Norman? Let's do that with all our picks next draft for a QB. Someone is bound to pan out.

I don't think Canales did a bad job Sunday. He gave individual players opportunities to shine. Pretty much all of them failed. Young's first pass was a good play call to regain momentum, and it was bad in so many ways. That call of a reverse to Mingo was a great play call, and he of course fumbled, because he's terrible. Canales can't make a five-star meal with wet garbage.
