Question - Will Bryce Young be the Panthers' QB the next time Derrick Brown plays?

We needed to bail on him this season....but unfortunately we had traded our #1 pick away already... 

 

If we had never made that trade and Matt Corral put up identical numbers, we’d be flushing him down the toilet without an afterthought.  Bryce got year 2 based on sunk cost fallacy.

Yea if we had stayed at 9 and acquired him organically he would already have been replaced and we have a different coach and GM.

No one else was signing up for Bryce year 2 after seeing him in action for a full NFL season.

Because he has been coddled like a spoiled child ever since he was drafted by this organization.  And now he has a cream puff coach that doesn't believe in criticism.

Can't ignore the entire gaslight media and NFL insider type people that said it was literally everything else. All he needed was ... everything just right. But they have almost all changed their tunes in a week. Obedient weathervanes that they are. 

The Buffalo preseason script was only just over two weeks ago. Which was pretty good but people just ran with it. Like we are running with what we are running with now, to be fair. 

Here it is though: as soon as stuff gets real he shows you that meandering drop stuff. And you know the re-training hasn't taken. (or, you should know).

Not that it is an easy thing, but right now he ain't doing it. I don't expect that to work, really. You have to deal with what he is and get the most out of it somehow.

The team shouldn’t draft a QB unless they think it’s a franchise guy. Also, we saw the poo show Bryce was dropped into, you want that again? If Bryce is just okay they likely go into next season with him and a vet to compete in camp. Best case Bryce balls out this year makes us forget about week 1 and we forget about this discussion.

If Bryce continues to play like he did Sunday, Canales will have no choice but to bench him.  He has to show that he can win games.

Scammed the nfl is crazy but sadly might be true. Dude said he played basketball with bryce and thought he worked at Verizon when he walked in the gym.  Pretty much says he is everything everybody at home thinks he is in person. Bland guy, not competitive, doesn't carry himself like a real athlete, not sure of himself type of a guy. Says he not even good at basketball and couldn't understand why he wasn't working on his football game instead of playing bball in a rec league. Lol

This team has so many holes. Bringing in another young QB in a terrible situation isn't going to help.

 

We just need to trade back like the Bears did. Add possibly a few players or extra picks with that #1 pick. Get 2 starters pick up a QB in FA or via trade.

 

 

I say we should take a QB and sit him for a year a la Patriots and Maye

Just like they kept Teddy and Baker around. Sam's 5th year option forced their hand. Or Cam. 

I think they ship him off for anything they can get to just get him out of here. A conditional 7th sounds about right.
