  1. 1. Will Bryce Young be our starting QB the next time Derrick Brown suits up?

I think 2 more stinkers in a row is about all Tepper will be able to stomach before he loses it.

there is nothing he can do, scott fowler said today he has been completely removed from the football side so outside of firing everyone (again) there is just nothing he can do.

His dumbass would be better suited starting a damn poll on the huddler on who the next coach and qb should be.  Seems to me we have been more accurate then the current leadership

Do you remember the number of people that were thrilled to trade all that and pick Bryce? They were happy. They shouted down any dissent, just like in the real world.

We'd end up the same. I do wish he would post here. LOL.

edit: If Fowler is right, that is pretty great. I don't trust him though.

Oh he can do something alright. He's removed himself as long as things improve or operates to his liking. There's no way he will sit through 17 more game of humiliation and not do something. You should know by now he can only take so much. If Canales is smart he will not let the situation get too far out of hand before he does something to win some games.

He is at the very least going to be the QB through this season. It’s obviously trending very badly, but it’s one week into his sophomore year. Anyone who wants Dalton to play is kidding themselves. The organization is going to evaluate what they have. Next year really depends on how well Bryce does. Also, next years QB draft isn’t great right now, but I can’t foreclose that someone like Carson Beck rises as an elite prospect depending on his play.

The team shouldn’t draft a QB unless they think it’s a franchise guy. Also, we saw the poo show Bryce was dropped into, you want that again? If Bryce is just okay they likely go into next season with him and a vet to compete in camp. Best case Bryce balls out this year makes us forget about week 1 and we forget about this discussion.

sure man but what can he do at this point, ordering andy dalton to start isnt a sure fire anything.  That doesnt mean we win games.  I think fitt/morgan has dismantled this roster to the point that 3 wins would be a fuging miracle

I'm thinking he cans the lot of them. Sunday was just too bad in all phases to overlook the coaching staff and their roll in it. Things better change in a hurry because there's no way Tepper is going to accept another 2 win or less season.

Bryce Young is like paying $100 to hear a guy that can't even play in tune. We just want to stop the madness and enjoy watching someone that can play. Even a little.

We would better off with a bar band.

That’s fine. No one is enjoying this, but that isn’t reality and it isn’t gonna happen. They are gonna evaluate him the rest of year regardless if you enjoy it or not.

We are not taking a QB period.

This team has so many holes. Bringing in another young QB in a terrible situation isn't going to help.

We just need to trade back like the Bears did. Add possibly a few players or extra picks with that #1 pick. Get 2 starters pick up a QB in FA or via trade.

I didn't read the entire piece by Fowler but don't they still report to him? Are there still weekly meetings? He hired them that's for sure.

It's like with the draft PR. It all looked intentional and almost like an alibi, that weird bar sign skit thingy sticks out. I know he wanted new faces to negotiate the stadium deal because of the bridges he's burnt locally but it always looked like a PR facelift to me. They promoted the AGM and then hired his friend with a consultant firm and Jim Caldwell.

If any of that is really true then they shouldn't have to play Young and it's in their hands to make the choice right? The entire thing is hilariously not genuine to me on any level. They can't do this but Tepper isn't hands on the operations now? That seems to be a hands on type thing so which is it really because the entire Byce thing becomes proof it was always BS to some extent.

If he is going to axe someone it won't be DC first. Caldwell would be a warning shot and Morgan or Evero would be next is my guess.

    • Fields is by far the most talented of the available QBs in FA.   Just not sure he will be a available because the Steelers are winning games. The more games they win the less likely he will be available. Fields gets them to the playoffs he's getting a nice contract from the Steelers imo.
