Gerald & Jax are good players for us and play well together. But they cant carry us alone in the playoffs. I think we put too much pressure on them to carry us offensively, and it cost us this series. We needed more production from Ray, from Diaw, from our bench, and we didnt get it. If we did, this series would've been alot more competitive.

Jax sucking is all on Jax. Stupid shots, turnover machine, taking 3's when he should take 2's. Stupid technicals. Whining after EACH brick he makes about not getting the foul while our team plays 4 vs 5 at the other end. I'm tired of him and I don't care if he goes 10-26 and scores us 20 points, we need to find someone to score more consistantly and with less of a downside. Everyone should now know why Jax gets shipped around the league each year. His nickname should be Fed-Ex instead of Captain Jack. 80% of this board over looks his problems because he puts up points, but when it matters you realize all those bricks, all those turnovers, all the whining, it adds up

Yes the entire team choked for sure, but Jax choked the biggest of them all. What an embarassing series for this city. For those wondering why we won't get national games next year, you now know why.

And Larry wasn't on par at all this series. Not realizing that DJ+Tyurs=scoring and runs is total "John Foxish" on his part and I'm starting to wonder if he's just burnt out on coaching.

It's funny to see that many people wanted to face the Magic over the slumping Celtics. I had no idea why.

But this has been an exciting season but disappointing playoffs. I didn't expect to win the series but I did expect them to come out a bit better than this. So many things hurt us this playoffs, I don't know where to start. Felton, for one, was just unable to fight through screens and Nelson abused him. And can someone look up Wallace's FT% in the playoffs vs his regular season. He had to be 10-15% lower.

Now we move on to the off-season with not much cap room and no draft picks (if I'm not mistaken). I'd really like to resign my man Tyrus Thomas, even if that means letting Felton walk. Also, LB looks like he's gone, so finding a coach will be another thing on the agenda. Should be an interesting off season. Good season, they did more than many expected.

...into our team's first winning season. Fact of the matter is, until he came here we werent a playoff team. This team is nicknamed "Jackson 5", not "Wallace 5" and nearly every talking head, NBA player, etc credits Jack with turning this team around. Yall talk like this guy destroyed our team when the fact is, he was aggressive to a fault and was our only scoring option for much of the year. He's also the only player on our team with championship experience. Yes lets get rid of 20 PPG scorer and rely on our all star who shys away from shooting the ball in the clutch so we can be a lottery team again like we were our first 5 years.

Jax did not choke the biggest of em all. He had a bad series, but as far as I know he wasnt checking Jameer Nelson.

Felton and Diaw were the downfall of this team... We pretty much depended on them all season long and that's why we were so inconsistent. If Felton or Diaw played above their average level, we won, if they played at their expected level we lost.

We're expecting too much out of them.

I felt bad for Felton looking at him at the end of the game. It was like the cameramen were purposely focusing on his face, like they knew it was all his fault lol.

I want to say bring him back b/c he's such a good guy, but it's hard to say that now. I know he'll be a lot cheaper to bring back after this series, but at this point, it does feel like the same situation that we had with Jake and the Panthers/John Fox. If we bring him back, we're holding DJ back and in turn, holding our whole team back, b/c I don't know how we would bring him back and LB sits him behind DJ. LB won't do it. So it may be best to just cut ties.

We may have won this series with DJ as the full time starter, or if we had TJ Ford. Which is pretty sad.

I'm mad at Jack, as he does turn the ball over at dumb times. But, a lot of that has to do with him creating his own shot b/c he doesn't have a PG/Ballhandler to get him easier shots, so he forces things. I don't hold the tech's against him either b/c I honestly just think his reputation is bigger than he is and the refs are waiting with the whistle in their mouth for him to say something.

Hendo, Derrick Brown and Tyrus need to get a whole lot more minutes next season. We have to try to move a big and Boris in a trade for a legit PG or post-scoring center. But I think PG is the biggest priority b/c you've seen what Chandler can do with a REAL PG in Paul. Changes have to be made through trades and some signings this offseason considering we don't have any picks in the draft.

All teams have to start somewhere, it was a fun ride and journeying into the playoffs for the first time. I just wish we could have won one playoff game!:(

The 1993 Orlando Magic led by future HOF big man Shaquille O'Neal and 90's all star point guard Anfernee "Penny" Hardaway were swept in their first playoff series by the Indiana Pacers.

The 2007 Orlando Magic led by all-star center Dwight Howard (and veteran wingman Grant Hill) were swept in his first playoff series by the Detroit Pistons.

We will learn from this and bounce back even stronger.
