Just got back from the game, really great atmosphere. Would have been a whole lote better if we came away with the win.

I think Felton has been my most disappointing player of the series. He doesn't even seem like he's in the same league as Nelson. Nelson is just having his way. The thing is Felton hasn't been fighting through picks. He just allows them to happen and expects the one hedging to take care of Nelson. Nelson is smaller than Raymond and he does a whole lot better with on ball pick and rolls. I was paying attention to this during the game and what I found is that a majority of the time Nelson would turn his body and force Felton the other way before the pick can be set. I don't know if that is what the Magic teach but the Magic are a better team at the pick and roll, offensively and defening it.

The screens would either result in an easy basket for Nelson or Jameer kicking it out and moving the ball around leading to an open 3.

And they just have more talent than we do. Howard, Vince, Nelson, Lewis, all capable of putting up crazy numbers. You stop Gerald and Jax and we are done. We need to make some changes this off-season, I know Jordan seen that too. We need to clear space somehow, gah.

Great post and observations... I been saying it. In juco, I was taught, and I imagine everyone is from an early age --- FIGHT THROUGH THE PICKS. Don't give them that corner. Elbow the screener in the chest, face, whatever... Do what you gotta do to get through that screen. It doesn't even look like Felton is trying.

I watched that one pick towards the end of the game where Nelson dumped it down to Howard wide open in the paint b/c Felton saw the pick, dropped behind it, looked... waited, then realized there were about 3 people between him and Nelson and then decided to turn around and find a guy to guard. If you look at the whole floor when it happened, everyone else sees what Felton did, they scramble to try and rotate to another guy, and it leaves someone open anyway... It all starts with Felton. I'm tired of seeing it.

The worst part for me is I so badly wanted to see us win the first home playoff game in franchise history, not the series just the first home game at least.

On a side note the cable box rocking was a welcome sight, it has been a long time coming, it's just a shame the guys couldn't pull it out.

Exactly. A lot of times the ball get swung around 2 or three times and it ends up in the hands of say, Lewis. And if Lewis hits the 3 you wonder why Diaw (or whoever is guarding him) is not out there with a hand in the face. It is all because Felton was unable to fight through a screen and help was needed. So Felton not only was responsible for many of Nelson's points but in a way a lot of others.

With Wade's.... I mean Miami's win today we are now the only team in the playoffs without a win. We must win game 4.... Can not be the only team in the opening round to get swept. Hell even the bucks got an impressive win.

I feel the same way, I hate seeing us as the only team out of the 16 playoff teams without a win, but I also feel that we are playing the best team in the playoffs with the way Orlando has been playing through the end of the season - and that's not a biased comment.

Maybe I would feel better if Charlotte and Orlando were both playing great, and they were just better than us. But Orlando has not played great at all this series... It's just we've played worst majority of the quarters in this series.

So even if Orlando is the best team... They have not played close to the level of a best team in the playoffs thus far.

Just why I am frustrated with the situation.... Like I said, hopefully we get a win tonight.
