Lost all interest in the NFL thanks to the Panthers

He needed competition. Someone to kick him in the ass and get him in 'grind to beat the guy out' mode.

I've never been on the train so his feelings and psyche do not matter to me in that regard.

Matter o fact his psyche and his teammates' psyche as well would likely benefit from him clearly winning a competition.

Do it now. Trade Jaycee or somebody and let's get a position battle going.

I have never understood that philosophy of avoidance. If a 6th round pick makes you sweat then what the hell is the D going to do to you? It's not a 1st or even a 2nd rounder then worry about you and go out there and prove why the other guy is a backup.

It's not Madden and just tanking 17 games is stupid AF. What about the other guys needing reps to improve off of? That's terrible coaching and roster management. I would be pissed if I was the HC or other players and I was told to trout that out for another 16 games.

I lost interest in the NFL after game 1 of 2016. If it wasnt blatant before the refs try to rig games, that game was the last straw. Havent watched another NFL game other than panthers since. Now I wont be watching panthers till the organization gets their head out of their ass.

This team has sapped any joy of watching the NFL out of me. I thought I could handle the demise of this franchise, but it is just not possible.

I can't pull for another team on a consistent basis since I have no allegiance to any of them. Really don't give a sh#t who wins or loses at all anymore.

Really used to get enjoyment from watching them play, and following the individual players on the team, etc. That's all over now.

It's probably better that I just don't give a sh%t anymore.

Then you should thank them. Now you'll have time to read, spend time with kids/wife/family. This poo isn't important. Best to learn that lesson the hard way.

I am so close to gone. I left for maybe two years. Missed it and started reading, then watching... sucked back in.

Some of you old timers might remember Coco-Cola putting player images inside bottle caps. Mick Tinglehoff. Sam Huff. People like that...

I watched the Heidi game, live, if people know what that was. I remember when there was no super bowl.

And the NFL has lost me. Once they put Goodell in and started their pussification of the league and the international crap and the over the top commercialism, just the total greed. And then they get into politics.

The Panthers were all that was keeping me in. And Tepper won't stop his crap. And I do mean CRAP. I pretty much hate that guy to be honest about it. It is really hard overlooking him. And harder dealing with his non existent QB IQ.

Me either. But you have a whole bunch of people that think you can ruin a QB just by throwing him in the game.

It ought to be teaching him not ruining him and if he can't hack he wasn't fuging cut out for it. S2 supposed to tell you that I guess.

Well that is finally no longer an issue here. Now it's a matter of how long it takes the people running the team to figure it out. Another game like that and the pressure should be on from most directions if it isn't already.

I'd pull for another team if any if them were shown consistently.   I mean the other NFC south teams are but fug them.  And the Cowboys but I'd rather rip out my eyeballs .

I only use an antenna because I sure as 💩 won't put any money into watching the NFL.

So it's this travesty or nothing.  Been a football fan since the late 70s so it's hard to choose nothing.   But I'm getting there.

I think this is my longest post on here.

Fug this team.

Yeah yesterday really sucked. I've had detachment for a while since we let go of Cam, but I decided to root for Bryce and the new regime once he was drafted.

This game felt worse than anything from last year, because it was the season opener. I think many of us hoped at minimum we would show progress from last years low level team.
Somehow we actually managed to play worse, and ruin any excitement we had...in a matter of 8 plays lol

It's a long season, so I'll continue to tune in, but it's looking like I'll be able to enjoy a few other activities on Sundays going forward this year.

I'm far more invested in the NCAA than the NFL. That's not going to change.

Agree with this.

Kind of crazy these last few years has me more intrigued with college football than the Panthers. I guess losing will do that.

I'm all seriousness people just need to find a hobby. That will get your mind off the Panthers.

I’ve lived and actually liked living in GA for the last 15 years. A lot of local kids go to sec teams. It’s a pretty cool area. It might be time to actually go for the home team… UGA?

All I know is watching this squad is a complete waste of time. It’s been completely destroyed. It’s pointless.

The constant gambling ads nearly broke me and all the political BS.

If not for my DVR, id for sure be less likely to care. Commercials during the are 95% booze or gambling, total turnoff for me and Im a boozehound.

Its something like 17 minutes of "snap-play" and the other 193 is toxic fluff.
