Saw that, he ripped Canales a new one.

Well he certainly earned it with how he had the starters being coddled in camp and sitting out preseason like we were coming off a Super Bowl appearance and not the worst record in the league.

I'm reminded of this fluff article the Panthers bot posted in early August talking up how much the players specifically the starters appreciated Dave Canales even though there was skepticism amongst the fans that the overall approach to camp and preseason seemed to be giving the appearance of what can only be described as "soft".

Fast forward to week 1 being one of the worst ass whoopings in the history of the franchise and.....

We are a joke!

We might be, but you have a tendency to care too much about what others think. The opinion of others doesn't matter...ever.

We don't need anyone telling us how bad we suck when we suck because we already know. that's the only thing we need to be concerned with, not how we are perceived outside of here. that kind of poo just doesn't matter. not here or anywhere.

Never really understood the hype on Canales.

I said at the time he was a fine hire, just fine, it was probably the best Tepper could do if he wasnt going to hire harbaugh or vrabel.   But yeah man there were a ton of red flags with him going in.  And like I have said 100x in the past 24 hours, this rah rah poo has to go.

It never existed. People just propping up Tepper's bad choices so it makes it easier to swallow IMO. The predictable 'give him a chance it's everyone else' is already in full swing again. After seeing a team so unprepared I don't know how anyone is OK with him at this point.

    • Fields is by far the most talented of the available QBs in FA.   Just not sure he will be a available because the Steelers are winning games. The more games they win the less likely he will be available. Fields gets them to the playoffs he's getting a nice contract from the Steelers imo.
