Canales is one and done, btw

So the whole "Not being motivated by negativity" thing isn't working out so well for Canales and BY. That always struck me as the complete opposite mindset of a "dawg" mentality that Morgan preaches. Canales already went into his "It took Jay-Z 7 Years" bag post game lol. Different words same poo

Literally worst case scenario. Do that and Panthers head coach officially becomes the league's dead end job. It'll take a trillion dollars guaranteed to get a high school coach here.

Multiple coaches have already fallen on their swords for Bryce Young. We have tried to scapegoat everyone and everything possible to avoid facing reality. That's over.

What we are seeing is why ultimately nobody else seemingly wanted this head coaching job or the general manager job. By taking the job you were immediately beginning your first attempt by taking a huge L. Everyone that watched last season knew Bryce had low odds of becoming a franchise QB from that. Only cope filled fans here truly believed something special was brewing. We always knew when Canales took this job it was not tied to his ability or inability to salvage Bryce Young. The same would have been said for anyone who took the job at this point.

You remove the common thread at the center of the issues and from there try to get a picture of what you've got.

Until then. Unless you want to remain a dumpster fire and the worst team in the league for several more years you take a deep breath and approach this rationally. Yes give Canales tons of flack for his dumb ass approach to preseason. But talk of firings at this point is not going to solve anything as much as it sounds appealing to our need for instant gratification.

Just put Bryce Young in the rearview.

Remember Canales is very green and we probably signed him a year too early. If Young keeps playing last yesterday you have to let Canales get his guy at the QB position unless he just completely loses the team.

Yes. People are so impatient (or unrealistic I dunno). This was always going to be a season of dental appointments, not parties.

Lol Rex Ryan just called Canales a hot shot HC who didn't deserve a chance to be a HC because he was only good for 2 years.

Then he called him a good looking kid and he's jealous lmao

We are a joke!

I mean, Canales was okay for 1 year in Tampa.  That's the meat of his resume.

    • Fields is by far the most talented of the available QBs in FA.   Just not sure he will be a available because the Steelers are winning games. The more games they win the less likely he will be available. Fields gets them to the playoffs he's getting a nice contract from the Steelers imo.
