The Bryce Young Panthers are unwatchable. It's time to release him or trade him.

You don't trade him, no one will bite on the offer. You bench him and play your veteran. Let him sit and learn, but still draft another QB know matter the draft position that can compete. It dont have to be the 1st pick in the draft. Never be afraid to try to win. Playing your veteran right now is the answer.

I don't think they would even consider giving us Rattler for Bryce. If they did they would be absolutely insane.

He does have SOME value because he has won an NFL game and has plenty of experience. He wouldn't be a starter, but a backup, and it's possible, coaching is the problem for Young. Darnold had a very good game today and got the W, and Mayfield lead Tampa to the playoffs last season. But trading away a QB with NFL experience for a QB with zero NFL experience isn't a bad deal for the receiving team.

I would take it for us in a heartbeat. Rattler has a chance still and isn't in just territory yet. Unfortunately as much as I hate to admit, it appears Bryce is a bust. If they would take that trade I would go for it. It won't happen of course but was a nice thought

Coaching ain’t the problem. Please. He is on his third guy.

As a matter of religion, I don’t believe in trading up to number one for a college QB for reasons previously enumerated. It is always a gamble.

Would not have done it for Stroud. I would have had issues with taking Young at 9, so no. And no to AR in the same proposition.

Once it was done, there was just total eyeball ranking and Bryce failed his pro day. And CJ was so excellent putting the ball on target, and AR had such potential, and Levis lurked back there in the bargain section… and I’d have gone with any of them because of Young’s physical limitations. Cut and dried.

Hell no. You do not start Dalton and luck into some wins and miss out on number one. Play Young, cement his status as biggest bust of all time, and move forward with number one pick next year. Not that it matters, this franchise is so pathetic whomever we select will be wrong anyway. Fun watching CJ and AR duel it out today though.

Even if it causes you to win a fat stack of cash? haha

    • He can say what he feels, but he's not saying "the previous year, the team wasn't very good" he directly called his teammates out and in a way that is flat-out not true. "You are your record"? Oh ok, he's only had 3 winning seasons, but in my mind he isn't a loser, and I bet he isn't in his either - cause football is a team sport and wins and losses are on the team, even when one really bad player (Jimminy Pickles) can basically screw over everything.  And this comes on the heels of his thing about the MVP, which is fine, but also selfish. His teammates consistently went to bat for him... Just feels like he's more about himself.
    • Good point--I think this draft is great for us at this time--At the top of the draft, the DT (DEs/NTs in 3-4) are loaded.  The Edges are deep.  We need to double dip there--hoping to move back so we can add three players to that pool.  In free agency, if I were Morgan, I would focus on DBs and  ILB--fix the back end of the defense.  If he signed a S, CB, ILB, and TE, it would be cost effective.  In the draft, DE, Edge, and WR should be the priorities.  After that, OL Depth, QB depth, DB depth, RB depth.  My Free agent Targets:  TE: Juwan Johnson, Saints.  29, had over 500 yards with Saints. S: Julian Blackmon, Colts.  He will be one of the top free agents--gonna cost us, but not like an edge or WR. ILB: Tyrel Dodson, Dolphins.  80 tackles on just 854 snaps--under 27 years of age. CB: Mike Jackson, Carolina.  He is 28 and had 3 picks and was on the field at all times.  68 PFF score. NT:  best available for Evero's system.
