But he really wasn't though. He had the worst deep passing percentage  at Alabama between him Tua Hurts and even Mac Jones. You cannot carve out a career as a starting QB with that. Let alone just magically become a franchise QB for a decade or more.

Bryce just isn’t an NFL QB. If one couldn’t tell that by the many poor velocity ducks he threw last year, then I don’t know what to say. It’s easy to blame the panthers for Bryce. There was nothing for the panthers to ruin.

Something is different he’s actually worse. The stuff he thrived on, scrambling and making off script plays, were terrible today

NFL analyst officially labeled Young a bust.  They said his biggest issue is he can’t read defenses.  He’s clueless of what’s going on around him.

Im not defending Bryce because he's looked bad.. but when is the last time you saw good quarterback play on the panthers? 2017 cam if my memory serves...when funchess lost it in the lights

Kyle Allen had a stretch of good play 

even a trash QB like PJ Walker has had a winning record when asked to start 

we are talking about some really bad QBs that have but together better play than Bryce Young.  There is zero threat with Bryce on the field.  It’s as game of survival for him and hoping to make a play outside of the playcall

"So the game plan is to routinely ask him to make NFL throws - if you can force him to make an NFL throw across the middle of the field it's a 50/50 whether it's an incompletion or an INT, so prioritise those".

They must giggle in the film room the week before they play the Panthers.

No. He was just never any good. He had middle of the league time to throw last year too, the OL wasn’t the problem.

kyle Allen outplayed Bryce young in every way possible.
