Just watched Bryce Young's press conference

You ever want to see an athlete who has lost every inch of confidence that they had in themselves?  Watch Young talk.

He's not gonna get any better because he doesn't believe in himself anymore.  Zach Wilson was terrible but never seemed like he lost belief in himself to do better the next game.  And this is in NEW YORK.  Obviously it takes more than confidence to be good in this league, but it starts there.

I do think we will see Andy Dalton sooner than later.  Khalil Mack, Maxx Crosby, Trey Hendrickson, and Montez Sweat over the next 4 games?  Oh wee mayne, Bryce ain't surviving that.

A lot of QBs have said it's all about confidence.  You cannot be successful without it.  That's what the damaged goods thing is on QBs.  They lose confidence.

I'm still not sure he survived the last game. If you told me that was his ghost I would believe it.

Ouch. Be glad the Panthers didn't get Watson is one of the main takeaways from this video. They say is dead money hit next year is 170+ million if the Browns were dumb enough to cut him.

They take a little shot at Dabo and Clemson paying players prior to NIL.

Brinson also thinks Young gets a third year, but does say never say never.

I don't think even Tepper is that stubborn. The fanbase is already becoming nonexistent. Another season of this they may as well move the damn team.

I don't know. Tepper does what he wants. And moving the team might be the goal. Ok. That might be wishful thinking on my part.

    • Yeah and he succeeded at an even higher level in LA with an even better surrounding cast. Goff is a guy that isn't really able to dramatically elevate players around him but he can make a good situation even better. He is capable of that. Some QB's aren't. I am not sure Dak is able to do that and he is in a similar "class" as Goff, IMO.
    • i think i could handle that for a year. beyond that....i don't know.  back where we lived, when we had a few inches of snow, it might have been a couple feet because we weren't getting out and doing anything. i remember times where power would go out for days on end. we had propane and electric heat, depending on the floor. basement (had a couple bedrooms and a living room and kitchen down there) and main floor had gas logs. main floor gas logs was enough to take care of the upstairs, so we could stay warm and cook on the grill when we needed. we had a well so that was always an issue when the power went out. had to make sure tubs were filled with water for the toilets and we had gallons of water for drinking and cooking available. always had to make sure we were ready. that wasn't always the case. we had a couple moments where we were going through propane quickly and because we were dealing with the worst propane company in the world (amerigas) they wouldn't get out to put gas in our 900 gallon tank. made for some nerve racking moments.  i know y'all were probably a lot more able to handle that kind of thing, but after the little bit (comparatively) that we got here i just have no desire to get trapped again. maybe for a day or two a year get snowed in and i'm good.
    • I think he is just drawing a DC to them line and that's about as far as his thought process went. It makes almost no sense outside of that. Also, it doesn't make sense for Pittsburgh or Seattle at this juncture either.  I think our "veteran" pool is basically gonna be the Dalton/Flacco tier or the "pick your poison" options of young busts(Jones/Z. Wilson) or wild, TO prone gunslingers(Darnold/Winston/etc). We have the option to pursue I genuinely believe(depending on the way the rest of this season goes), we either draft a QB in the top 10 or resign Dalton. Outlier third option on taking one of the wild gunslingers that Dave feels like he can work with.
