BREAKING: Panthers cut Chaisson

Sounds like the team is high on DJ Johnson and Eku Leota while also preparing for the eventual return of DJ Wonnum (and Amare Barno).

Cutting Chaisson helps them get closer to cap relief, allows them to evaluate new options (Jamie Sheriff), and makes it a little easier to bring back players from injury when they're ready. The next four weeks are going to be tough on those fringe guys because some aren't going to be here when Jonathan Brooks, Dane Jackson, DJ Wonnum, and Amare Barno are due back.

We can extend Xavier Woods, Pineiro, and Hekker. Redo Moton's contract (might have to extend). Restructure Theilen. 

Next season cut Sanders, Tuttle, and maybe Moton if we can't redo his contract.

Its like people dont realize we could have had a kings ransom for a guy that is only a pass rush specialist.....is he even a top 100 player in the NFL? Doubtful. 

Fitt did everything in his power to make us have the worst roster in the league and his co-hort Samir fugged our cap. 

Then we made his right hand man the new GM.... good times...

Man, I really hope we get some guys to be better than Burns. DJ was good, but also not ideal. You should have said Peppers and Smitty

Isn't it fun being a fan of the worst franchise in the NFL?  Perhaps one of the worst in all of pro sports?  DFL in the preseason poll, not much to be excited about on the roster, good times

Helped a my brother with his Fantasy Football draft yesterday. 

Kinda depressing seeing CMC #1 overall, DJ Moore top-50, and then flipping 4 more pages until the first Panther showed up.

I ended up with some Panthers on my bench because somehow my league was even lower on the team than me.

Put me in the minority that’s fine with letting Moton expire.  He has not been the same player since 2020.
