As a coach, Ron was basically John Fox that went for it on 4th down.  But we're past that now and I wish him the best.

This seems like an oddly good decision on NFLNs part. He wasn't a great head coach ultimately but he knows defense.

The guy who coached when we could make payoff appearances and Super Bowl runs. 

Remember when all we needed to do was replace the coach, replace the GM, sell the team to make the next step?

I know, we have had 2 coaches get us to the superbowl , and he is one of them 

But Fat Fool gets less hate than him on these boards 

Of course this is the same board that thought Frank Reich was automatically going to lead us to the superbowl in year 1(lasted 10 games) and laughed anyone who questioned the hire in any way off the board

Cool. Yeah, we had to part ways with Ron. He had ran his course. But I've always like and respected the man.
