I honestly think you’ll see a different side of Ron on TV. He was very cagey and careful with his language as a coach but I think he will come out of his shell a bit as a commentator with nothing to lose

If I must explain my Riverboat negativity... Ron said some non football things that bothered me, and I lost some respect for him. Best leave that there. 

I think he was basically unfairly criticized for some of the Cam stuff, but he was done here before he was gone, to be honest. He wasn't very effective at the end of his tenure. 

He had a stellar history as a DC. Can't take that away from him.

I’ll wait to judge.  Ron is a good human.  So I’ll root for him.   Everyone on those shows can’t be a personality trying to entertain.  Ron probably got some good D takes

      Because that's dishonest and the team would see right through it. Don't BS your players. It also sends a message of "Anyone is replaceable if they don't produce, even the supposed franchise QB." New regime is a meritocracy as opposed to Rhule's OOU BS.

      it was always obvious Bryce Young was going to greatly struggling in the type O Canales was going to want to run.  The looks and throws run against what Bryce Young is.  Talked about ever since the pairing was made.   I know I talked about it non-stop.  Bad marriages.  So that's why benching Bryce does nothing really to change the trajectory.  We don't have good people in charge.  Will be maybe get better QB from Dalton in Canales O? Sure.   But we are further behind than ever before at the QB spot....than we have in the Tepper era.  I keep saying it over and over.  The Tepper Era really is defined by a desperate idiot at BOA that botches the QB thing over and over and over.  And it is without question, he brings out the worst possible outcome for any QB.  Andy Dalton is likely not about to have a good time.  Maybe a good debut as new and different helps most people initially.  So I am prepared for a insane overreaction to Sunday.
