Brees was the second best QB last year, I'll admit that. Evans isn't an elite guard though. A very good one, but not elite.

Peyton Manning wins MVP because he's the NFL's pet, and him losing is bad for business. Brees deserved it in 2008, and arguably in 2009(Brees and Favre both deserved it more than Manning IMO.)

Anyways, trying to have an unbiased opinion on this but comparing Evans to our guards is like comparing a Ferrari to a Lambo. They're excellent at their position, and one isn't miles ahead of the other. It's okay for a team to have a better player than ours. We have better players at certain positions than them, and they have some players that are better than ours. Doesn't mean said players are bad.

Yes he does always choke in big games. That's why he has had a completely stacked team for the past decade and only has one ring. He has notoriously had trouble in the playoffs(he had a sub .500 record until this years playoffs.)

and don't give my that best team crap. Colts defense did absolutely everything they needed to win. Including stopping one of the best offenses(if not THE best) at the 1 yard line.

Brees is the best quarterback out of the 2. I know it sucks admitting a Saint is the best in the league, but it's true.
