Yeah, Colorado vs. Bama wouldn't have been competitve. Colorado vs. BYU gives us the presumed conference championship game that just didn't materialize.

Yeah Colorado would have blew them out. The NCAA was scared Deion would embarrass an SEC team on Nat'l tv.

Nobody fears Milroe as a passer lol

Didn't Vanderbilt beat Alabama?

I'm going to go ahead and call my upset pick right now.

Notre Dame drops to 0-3 all time in the CFP

Notre Dame has been overrated forever. Not sure how that school is still a big deal. The owner of NBC must have strong ties to that program. It's the only reason they stay relevant.

The whole drop back 50 times and sprinkle in 8 random run plays while Sanders holds the ball against Big12 athletes....isn't going to fly against a good SEC front.

the comment has nothing to do with Milroe.

Poor BB he got ran out of the NFL. Usually if a team was interested they would have at least reached out now.

Sadly this may be his only opportunity to coach again. At least we will be the center of attention in college football next season.

Cmon Linville let's get excited for the circus!

Texas is going all the way.  They got the rest of the bracket right where they want them after losing to Georgia

one thing is clear, format screwed the #1 team.

I got no confidence to say any team is going all the way.   Can't trust any of them.  They all can have a bad day and lose.  I guess if I had to put a nickel on predicting a team making the Championship game I might go w/ UGA making that game.

what hurts Texas is just the math of football.  They got to stay healthy enough and play good enough to pull off 4 straight wins to win it all.  That's where things get dicey w/ this 12 team format.   Health.  Making a 4 game run vs different degrees of good to get the natty is tough sledding.

who knows, it will be interesting to see the 12 team format play out.

I've seen enough after they beat the Aggies at College Station.  Everything went against them that game and they still won.  They are huge in the trenches.  Georgia won't be able to beat them 3 times.

maybe.  Texas did have a bad day....but were lucky to have a bad vs another team also having a bad day.  A&M didn't muster a single offensive point that game.  Not even a FG.

To me, I don't think a single team in this playoff can have a bad day vs an opponent having a good day.  And the CFP has generally had teams that could navigate those days.

maybe I will end up liking the 12 team format.  I think the format clearly works against the better teams though.  Let's say it runs chalk to the final 4.  Odds are you still end up w/ someone getting beat up by the time they get to the final 4.... and that team might of been FSU'd had it been known.

That's comes with the more teams you let in.  MLB has seen similar issues with their latest format.  The Dodgers won this year with the bye, but most of the teams that had the bye have done terrible.  And wild card teams have overperformed.

Bama would've probably thrown under 20 times because they would've just been cramming the ball down Colorado's throat on the ground anyway.
