He’s going to FL State, that’s my bet anyway

I could see them making a push for him. I still think the most likely future is as Shedeur and Hunter's agent or as their marketing person. He would actually be really good at the latter. He could be a beast in the world of sports marketing.

He would definitely be great at that but Deion loves kids, loves to coach and mentor them.  I’ve always felt like he was working his way back to FL State since he got into coaching.  With his name and the FL State brand, he could build a powerhouse there for years to come.  But again, I certainly can’t disagree with what you’re saying

It’s just seems unlikely that Deion sticks around after Sanders and Trav move on. Also  unlikely he will be able to recruit players of their caliber in the portal because guys like that graduate to the NFL.

That’s said I doubt he goes to the NFL. He probably goes to a larger D1 program.

I think Deion gets a new "calling" after this year.  His entire coaching career has been coaching his sons.   Reality TV with his sons.  You remove them from the equation, I just don't see him staying in coaching.   I think he leans back into media/online stuff (which again, will have the family in mind).

Why are all these Nat'l debate shows trying to get Prime to leave Colorado?

He flat out said yesterday he couldn't coach in the NFL. Yet these fools keep discussing him to Dallas.

The media has changed. Even your own words is not enough for them to push a narrative.

Uhhhhhhhhh. Dude ... YOU say Prime is leaving Colorado every other post lol.

you might be right.  Although the pitch from some schools and maybe a few NFL teams will be strong and lucrative.  I agree with those who think he might go to FSU.  I think he would do better there than the NFL.  His name alone is a great recruiting tool.

Regardless of what you think of Deion, his tenure at Colorado is essentially a proof of concept for having a celebrity at HC to drive transfers.  When viewed through that lens, I think there's a fair amount of ADs that would view his job in Colorado as a successful proof of concept.  The shift that's happening with the NIL stuff and the transfer portal is going to cause someone to take a leap of faith with Deion.  I think it ends up being FSU.

Why did the doubters doubt him?

It was clear he just needed some time. I didn't think it would take 2 years, but here we are. He's only going to get better. If he goes to FSU it's over. He's got a easy path to the playoffs every season because he's going to dominate recruiting in that market.

He has done ok at Colorado, his main advantage is bringing in talent.  Which he has done well.

But when Matt Rhule was hired here, a lot of people were upset because they said he could never win "the big one".  Well Deion has definitely never won the big one.  And due to a scheduling advantage, he hasn't played many of the big 12 best teams. In fact, only one of the top 5 teams, and he lost to them.  Colorado's last three games are against teams with losing records.  And he got blasted by Matt Rhule.

Looks like he will have a shot at BYU at the end of the season, so that will be his chance.
