Makuba the saftey from Texas. Seals the game with an INT. wow. He would be a great pick for us in the 2nd to 4th rounds

That was so fun.

Skattebo absolutely skyrocketed his draft stock. He mightve been a 4-5th rounder before this game, but with that kind of virtuoso performance on a big stage, he might be a 2nd or 3rd rounder now with a good combine. Wow.

The only real questions about Skattebo are his speed and the mileage on his tires. Sure looked fast enough today but if he could run mid-4.5 or better in Indy it would alleviate a lot of concerns.

Texas won a game they absolutely should have won in a blowout and also definitely deserved to lose. I think either Oregon or Ohio State will beat them thoroughly

The way they've been all year. They're the best team in the country when they're playing at their best but they look shockingly average for long stretches in a lot of games.

    • I’m always hesitant to buy into analysts saying it is a “weak class” compared to last year. For example, some said the 2017 QB draft class was “weak”, yet we all know who came out of that draft class (Mahomes). Positional depth and strengthens can vary from draft to draft, but there are usually players who prove people wrong and go on to have great careers. So while I respect that some people view this class as “weaker” than last year, I’m sure there are players that can be difference makers and potentially be perennial pro bowlers.

    • Like most teams at .500 and below this time of the year, and a few of those with better records, we don't have a complete professional football team.  Teams like us are either a piece of cloth worn through from too much use -- holes throughout as aging "stars" try to hang on. Some are just getting rebuilt, just some bits knitted together, waiting for more material to be brought in and sewn in to make it whole (I hope we are here). And some, the most damned, are just piles of yarn and thread, knotted into something truly wretched because those in charge have no fuging idea what they are doing. We need stuff. We have stuff. We are far from "there" yet. But for once, Lord, it feels like we are on the road at least and moving forward. Yeah, Bryce is way, way down on our list of worries and is rising up our list of assets.  2025 should be a better year.
