You're assuming those SEC teams are taking bowl games seriously. Hell aren't most of those SEC teams have opt out because of the draft?

Kind of hard to take these bowl games seriously not many people paying attention to a meaningless bowl game. Everything is about the playoffs. Even the playoffs have been non competitive. Are you blaming the ACC teams for not showing up?

It goes both ways. Making fun of the SEC is the last thing I would be doing. Top to bottom they are still the best conference.

Pretty sure Tenn took their game serious boss… while being the biggest clowned team in the college football playoff.  That right there should have made Lane Kiffen, YOU, pipe down because the argument ended there.

*I’m not making fun of the SEC, it’s making fun of the people who make delusional statements about the SEC.

This is what so many folks don't understand. Yeah, I do think that the SEC is the best football conference. No, they're not D1 vs. everyone else's D1-AA like the fanboys try to act like they are either though. It's not like they're in a league of their own that exists in some space between the rest of the NCAA and the NFL with the fanboys acting like they're much closer to the NFL than the rest of the NCAA is to the SEC. That's just pure delusion.

Criswell is down. I honestly have no idea who is still even in the roster and available at QB. Criswell was already the 3rd stringer.

We're definitely seeing early on just how good Omarion Hampton was. Without him we have zero running game and zero offense period.

Time to bust out the single wing!

    • The trade value is no longer expected? Being the #1 pick is no longer expected? Being a 1st round QB is no longer expected? We're now hoping he can perform as well as Nick Foles? I think it's a reach to expect him to be on the same level as Kirk Cousins. Maybe he can reach a Ryan Fitzpatrick level of success. At this point, he's Josh Rosen level, and Kenny Pickett would be an improvement. Is Young even projecting to go beyond his rookie contract or get the 5th year option? There must be a minimum standard set for a QB in the NFL. Improving from the lowest bar possible is not the way to find a franchise QB. Collins in playoffs 2nd season. Beuerlein in playoffs 2nd season. Delhomme in playoffs 1st season. Newton in playoffs 3rd season. Weinke, Peete, Clausen, Allen, Bridgewater, Darnold & Mayfield were all one and done. Young is the first Panthers QB who isn't held to a winning standard. I never wanted the Panthers to be in Justin Fields & EJ Manuel territory. Now, here we are lowering the bar & making excuses for Bryce Young going into year three. Even Mitchell Trubisky turned his bad team around in 2 years.
    • Murray has a game winning drive going and then doinks his pass off his receiver's helmet for a game losing INT. Ouch.
    • Put our current left tackle that is unable to pass block on the right side, and make another attempt to get a left tackle, but maybe one that has some ability to pass block.
