High key probably wont even watch. Kennard and Sanders already opted out. So its the who gives a poo bowl.

That's every bowl except the playoffs. They need to drastically cut down on the number of bowls. Being bowl eligible used to actually mean something. Now all it means is that if you're not bowl eligible you're an absolute bottom feeder. That's why no one cares and all the draftable players sit them out.

Won't help them any.  They will still have to many teams in a single league.

They'll have their own championship. They'll boot out the lower schools, invite big names, and have their own 12 team super league: Alabama, Georgia, Miami, Texas, Florida, Florida St, Clemson, Ole Miss, LSU, Oklahoma, Texas A&M, and Tennessee. That league would get NFL ratings.

That league would still only get 1-3 playoff spots a year because of the other guaranteed slots.

It makes more sense now to go the opposite - Clemson and FSU have a much easier path to the playoffs in the ACC than they would there.

You don't get what I'm saying ... they'll LEAVE the NCAA. Gone. They'll do their own thing.

The BIG talks about this periodically. It'd probably just be for football, if it happened, but I think it's a bad idea.

Maybe go back and watch the Clem game again. Costly turnovers in the redzone by both teams. Easily could have been a 34-24 type of deal if both teams dont do that stuff.

I never said they were king kong. Only that they are flat out one of the top 12 best and thats a fact.

I watched it the first time.  What stood out for me is the same thing that stood out yesterday.  Clemson can’t tackle humans running.

If so, the NCAA should just, imo, that it is all sports or none, and I don’t think the SEC has an appetite for that.

Which is exactly what the ACC should've told ND. Nobody gives a poo about ND basketball. If football isn't joining up it's a no. Then they went full cuck and let ND football play as a conference member during the COVID year. Just embarrassing.

The only way to make it fair is to dictate the conferences and lock them in.  Pro sports solve this with locked divisions that are balanced with revenue sharing and caps, and are organized mostly location by region.  You can’t have a fair bracket system with this Wild West conference stuff.  It’s always going to be people in a room deciding who they think should be in.

A bigger field does not solve this problem.

SC won the ACC title the week before in Clemsons own house. Committee was worried about optics over talent.

I've been pounding the drum that Beamer is a weenie since the Clemson game because he refused to lobby as a 10 win team and call refs out and eat a fine.

Then proceeded to say he was friends with Dabo before being thrown under the bus right after the ACC title game when his "friend" said "herr derr SMU better be in the playoffs herr derr"

Beamer always takes the high road and thats why his team is sitting at home.

AP and Coaches poll didn’t have to worry about optics …. which is why every other poll that wasn’t the CFP committees’ had full chest out Carolina Gamecocks behind Clemson, SMU and Bama.  So it’s not like the CFP had some unique anti-Gamecock bias

Dabo didn’t do Beamer dirty.  Dabo said the only thing an ACC coach could say.
