Army Navy, still the biggest rivalry in US sports.  The only rivalry in which a team could lose every game for the entire season except for that one and still consider it a successful season.

The first 2 words Plebes learn are Go Navy, the second 2 are Beat Army! I'm sure Cadets are the opposite. Every time we play is huge - basketball, baseball, swim, field hockey, volleyball, track, everything. But this game, the football game, means everything!

Jeanty also outperformed the last couple Heisman RBs.  Hunter was not close to those who won it before him at those spots.   Hunter got it for being really good at 2 spots over someone great at one who also carried his team to the CFP and a conference title via that greatness

it’s like giving the NFL MVP to some unicorn watching the NFL playoffs from his couch.

Fan vote clearly got it right.  Heisman voters leaned toward popularity in the end IMO

We won 10 games...

Sorry, I worded it poorly.  Before the GT game, I think Cam had a very good shot at the Heisman.  But the two losses to GT and Syracuse allowed others into the debate and Cam took a step back.

Here is an article from late oct that list the heisman odds from Danny Sheridan at that time.  Shows Jeanty and Ward as the clear leaders.

Here are Sheridans odds later in the year.

At one point during the season, Cam Ward was the Heisman favorite. As Saturday approaches, his odds are 100-to-1 against winning the trophy. Ward won the Davey O'Brien award (college football's best quarterback) on Thursday night. He passed for 4,123 yards and 36 touchdowns, but his Heisman chances were damaged when the 'Canes did not advance to the ACC championship game and earn a berth in the playoffs.
