As a UNC fan but first and foremost a Panthers fan I am conflicted but very excited about the Belicheck hiring but more than anything just flat out shocked he chose UNC of all places.

I keep thinking about this and wondering why he has a 1 mil buyout so early in the contract.  That is interesting.

So he can leave to do what he actually wants if he can find a way back in.  Think he ideally wants to be in the NFL and getting those wins.

someone asked why he had a 1 million buyout built into his deal that essentially is effective immediately (June).  I answered that question. 

feel free to share a better reason for the absurd buyout if it isn’t for the built in flexibility to part ways (for both sides). 

Dabo’s buyout next year is $60 million as a comparable.  

Deion ain’t got nothing to do with this, it’s just you forcing it into the convo
