It's about more than just QB and superstars, man. Miami's defense is awful. They don't have much room for error on offense. I've seen how that usually works out over the course of a full season. You're almost always gonna take a couple of unexpected Ls because your offense has an off day, turnovers, or just a bad break or two. You get too dazzled by star power.

The defence gave up 3 points (and realistically should have pitched a shutout in the second half if Diaz had any balls and went for it) in the second half.

We went on a 34-3 run.

It's not a good defence (because the secondary isn't very good [or they're very young]), but it just needs to get a few stops a game and we win.

And if you ask me the O has had a few off days already - there's just so many ways we can beat you that we score enough anyway.

Dabo and thinking don't really go hand in hand. He's a recruiter and motivator. He ain't gonna beat anybody outwitting them on Saturday. Which honestly is fine. A lot of great college coaches are like that.

At very least, one of his assistants should have told him, hey coach, being down by 11 is better than being down by 12.

Didn't matter anyway.

I'm rooting for y'all. I've just seen how these style of teams usually play out. The margin of error is slim.

The best QB in a conference and the best QB in the nation oftentimes doesn't win the conference or the national championship. You always act like a 13 year old girl about this stuff. Muh superstars!!! LOL

I'd argue best O in the nation - certainly the best O in the ACC.

Best RB room, best OL room, best TE room. Arguably the best WR room too. We have the best DL room in the ACC too, for what it's worth.

They better enjoy it. Whoever wins the ACC is gonna get exposed in tbe playoffs. This conference is just not as talented as other conferences. These ACC games are just not the same as other conferences. Bad defenses, missed tackles, offenses scoring at will. Just terrible!

Have you watched ANY other games this year?

I just suffered through Georgia v Florida. It was a literal pillow fight.

The Big12 is no better. Honestly you have the SEC and the Big10 outside of that the conferences are weak…

I think he gave up on winning the game a while ago - he was trying to keep the score respectable.

At the time, he still had a slight chance to win.  Would have cut the lead to 11 with 6 minutes left.   I think he just didn't think it thru.  Of course, following that play, Clemson gave up an easy td, so it became irrelevant.  But at the time, it didn't make much sense.
