I know Ewers is one of the top college QBs, but the injury today made me look up his history. Dude has only played one full season since starting high school and there's questions if Manning gives the job back if Ewers misses some games. That would scare me away from taking him as a top pick.

Looks like Georgia's defense has sorta gone back to sleep. Guess the bulldogs are going to be a slow starting team like they were last year.

Ewers might put up the numbers but he plays in a much tougher conference so the wins might not be there at the end of the season.

Being in the ACC is a pretty big hurdle in itself though.  Weak ACC wins have never been the sneaky path to a Heisman.  

ACC going to lose out to a better conference and stats every time pending they win enough to be relevant

Don’t worry about the Manning family black listing the Panthers because we’re a small market.  Eli didn't refuse San Diego because they’re a small market.  Eli refused San Diego because they were a dog poo organization.  I’d expect the same for present day Carolina.

Don''t want Arch Manning unless he really shows a lot.  

I saw a Mock Draft the other day that had us taking Cam Ward.  Not sure if it would be Ward, but unless something dramatic happens with Young, there is little doubt imo that we will take a qb.  With the money we spent on the oline and the moves we made with the WR's, the team is going to want a qb that can actually take advantage of them.

This may be a wild guess, but I'm going out on a limb and saying this Arch Manning kid is pretty decent.
