I don't know how you can fairly evaluate anyone on offense with QB play that bad.  But that's just how it looks to me.

Agreed. I'm of the opinion we had to have has better options at QB3. But what's done is done. All that will matter is how the season goes. 17 games is a long season to head into with the worst QB3 in the league. Never know what can happen.

Apparently we don't want to risk him. On the one hand it makes sense. On the other it's a pretty good indicator your QB room is....meh.

I just don’t see Plummer making the roster. Granted XL probably should have caught that pass.

He was literally resetting his feet going through progressions. That’s what you want to see

That what the broadcast talk was saying

others in the thread made similar comments.  I’d like him to have more reps going in.  Once again, he trends on light side of reps.

Old preseason starters basically got 3 full quarters going into a season.

    • That’s a book of the great life that the Panthers have had. So great to look back on the great players and seasons that we have had. But I think the book could have been twice the size. We have had a good 30 years, up and down the standings. i know we are in a bad spot right now, but hopefully before long we will be climbing back towards that Super Bowl championship
    • LmAO ..it does not make any sense whatsoever why a team that is currently 2-0 would  trade their backup Qb to a team that is 0-2 & in the same NFC conference ? & what is Seattle going to do if Geno Smith is injured ? wouldn't a team that is  currently 2-0 & is quiet  possibly going to the playoffs  want a decent plan B that already knows how to operate their system & has some form of chemistry with their players  , like I said before this is the NFL &teams especially ones like Seattle  are NOT going to trade their backup Qb 2 games into the regular season...just saying
    • Yeah, I can see that happening, but my only thing is, whoever he goes to, it's going to be a bad team. Not a whole lot of difference between us and say Denver, Jax, the Giants or the Colts. Of course, we're probably worse, but not by that much. Manning would have to pick his poison.
