Should we try and get Jerricho Cotchery

Now that S.Holmes is a Jet we can get J.Cotchery cheap . He's a good possession WR and only 27 and can punt return would be a great #2WR

I just think they need to go get someone. Get one proven WR to help Smitty and all other positions can be addressed in the draft. That I think would help us be way more competitive next year. If we dont I guess some unproven guys will have a great chance to step up. I'd just rather see us do something like you are suggesting. So yea, go get'em if we can.

I don't think the Jets would part with Cotchery. Edwards and Holmes are both very similar players, and both are heading into the last year of their contract. It's unlikely that the Jets would be able to resign both players after this season since both will want number 1 money.

It would make more sense for the Jets to try to move Edwards than Cotchery.

What makes you think he's even available?

Holmes is a solid addition, but is out for 4 weeks. Braylon Edwards is a bad receiver, and was only tagged because they had no one else. Cotchery was making some CLUTCH 3rd down catches, and is very underrated. They'll keep him.
