HOT TAKE (?): Bryce Young was the best QB on the field today.

SUPER-REALISTIC TAKE: Preseason games may eventually be replaced with scrimmages.

Pre season games are scrimmages.

Conservative scrimmages where starters can be playing against players that might not make a team.  The whole 3 game preseason schedule changed it up.  I doubt they will get rid of them thought because they can sell tickets for a scrimmage.

Hot take:  We seem to be the only team that thinks preseason is useless.

The only team that thinks preseason is useless is also the reigning worst team by a significant margin until proven otherwise.

Also anyone trying to compare us to the Rams at this point in time is about to OD on hopium.

1 or maybe 2 more preseason games may go away if the regular season keeps getting extended. But that's a ton of revenue that they won't just let go unless they're replacing it with more real games. Season ticket holders have to pay full price for those preseason games, they're not going to be replaced by "scrimmages" or joint practices.

Now that I could see happening.  Regular season goes to 20 games.

    • Fields is by far the most talented of the available QBs in FA.   Just not sure he will be a available because the Steelers are winning games. The more games they win the less likely he will be available. Fields gets them to the playoffs he's getting a nice contract from the Steelers imo.
