What would a "second year jump" look like for bryce young compared to his contemporaries

I am pretty sure Thomas Brown was the one calling the plays  in that Green Bay game last year & Reich had already been fired at that point in time

he was.  I'm just saying even Bryce's one good game.....wasn't really a good game.  It was just a good 4th quarter where TB was up double digits and the Carolina drives where the drives were aided by big penalties.

Made some good throws though. I’ll give him that. But that was against a 7-8 team playing in his stadium. That fired their DC after the season (maybe because of that? lol jk I don’t know)

It is going to come down to what many people are focusing on, his arm and accuracy at 30 yards, at 40 yards. I honestly do not think he knows where it is going to come down.

The reason I say that because his longer distance throws are so off target, so frequently, that I can’t assume he meant to put it in that great spot where the WR had an easy catch for a chunk play. That’s just where it ended up.

Which is why we got Legette, I think. Almost Gettleman-esque the way they addressed Youngs wildness.

Gettleman: QB missing high, easy: get taller receivers. I mean, you are really smart Dave! That is so much more effective than working with the QB to adjust his mechanics to get the balls from sailing.

Canales and Morgan: well. The response to the QB being wild on downfield throws, easy: just get a jump ball specialist that can run fast. Don’t have to be accurate semi deep. I will be less harsh towards this logic because I really don’t think the QB can improve any of that and I believe they did the best they could.

Looking like he belongs in the league? IDK Bryce is unfortunately one of those dudes who so badly failed the "eye test" last season for me that he just needs to look competent and string together consecutive games of NFL level QB play.
