I don't think any coach could make this roster even remotely competitive. If Canales is at least not out of his element strategically, give him a year or two. This business of giving up on a rookie coach 3/4 of the way into his first preseason game with 31 starters out is crazy.

This is our 2nd offensive head coaching hire in back to back seasons. We look as bad or worse so far. It's a results league. You don't like it? Hey that's cool. But even mediocre franchises are finding ways to look at least partially competent offensively.

Yes his offense needs to establish some semblance of competence soon.

Were you one of those fans here that talked down to others last year about how bad we looked in preseason wasn't indicative of how we'd look in the regular season? You seem like the type.
