Looks like Nate "Pop Up" McOut got sent back to Gwinett today. Looks like at least Blanco will be back in a couple of days. Melky should be a lock at CF until then I guess.

It's time to see what Wren can do about the outfield and adding another bat. It's good to know they are giving up on Nate for the time be.

Hopefully it means a trade is being lined up but nonetheless it's a start!

Well right now the Braves are making the great Miguel Batista look even better than Strasburg right now.

Ummm...one too many "right now's". It's cool, honest mistake. And you needed a couple commas. But don't worry, 8th grade english is tough on everybody. ;)

Yes, I am being a dick. Yes, I am being sarcastic. Just preventing the inevitable whine-athon.

But yeah, we're suckin a big one right now. Looks like Hanson is starting to come on though. 3 ERs too late, but eventually the Braves bats will start getting a little more pop in them. Always do.

The thing with first time starters, they always go one of 2 ways. Its either tremendous (ie, Batista tonight) or they tank terribly. This is due to unpredictability. Braves will figure him out by the end of this game and the hits will come with it. If Strasburg were playing tonight, this game could very well be a batter's game.

Ugh. I paid about twice what I normally pay to go to a Nats-Braves game. Then I actually had to sit in the seat I paid for because it was so crowded. The lines for beer/food were 10 times longer than normal. Strasburg doesn't pitch and Braves get shut out. Lame.

The crowd was PISSED when they were announcing the line-ups and got to "And batting 9th, your starting pitcher............Miguel Batista!!!" People around here aren't Nats fans, they're Strasburg fans. They could care less about the rest of the team.

Also, I've decided I'm never going to see Hanson pitch again. Braves are 0-3 with me in the crowd and Hanson on the mound.
