Judging from the comments it's safe to say we will be drafting Shedeur Sanders with the #1 pick.

Oh Lord, I hope we don't. He will suck all of the oxygen out of the region surrounding Charlotte. Let's just avoid any of the Sanders kids. They have half their Dad's talent and twice the ego problems (plus they bring their dad's along on top of that.)

And let's not start on Arch Manning either.

Both of those families will pull an Eli drafted by San Diego deal anyway should we throw a pick at them. Just move on.

I've mentioned it before but Milroe is the guy 100%. Ewers has kept Manning on the bench but Milroe also had to fight to be the starter last year after losing it and showed a lot of toughness. Also had clutch wins against Auburn and Georgia to get Alabama into the top 4 and almost beat eventual champ Michigan, and did so being the dual threat that I think we love in Carolina.

I think he could be Lamar Jackson-good.

He has the tools and when he puts it all together, get out of his way.

Where has BC been practicing today?  Is he solely focusing on center?  I would imagine he would be a fallback option at guard since he was a solid starter there.  Or is he going to be the swing lineman?

We need to cut Zalava, Mays, and the other trash OL once cut downs begin.  I'd rather have back-ups that have had decent game experience and results than not up to par 2nd/3rd year players

I mean.....guys like Mays and Zavala serve one purpose....being cheap.

If we were a smart team and well run team(we aren't), then the OL is where we would be drafting to "churn the bottom of the roster."

But, no, we'll just keep reaching at RB or LB or whatever position isn't nearly as important. No big deal.

Way to early to be judging the OL--wait until after the second preseason game at least.  New staff, new system, new players--you all might be right, but man it is tough to bring 5 people together--no other position group has that many different pieces.  I am concerned--don't get me wrong--but I am not too worried yet.

I am interested in the following players at the moment that seem to have flashed:

  • OLB Chaisson
  • WRs Mingo and Marshall Jr. (ANY WORD ON XL's INJURY?)

Meanwhile, the guy who I wanted in the 2nd before we wasted a pick on a RB that won't play this year....

I fuging hate this team. We can't draft for poo

Don't worry about it, bro. We can just plug a guy that has never played center throughout his entire professional or college career. It will work.

"Trust the process."

He hasn't played up to first round status, much less the first pick. Let's keep it a buck.

Check the mock drafts.

Your eyes are lying to you or your brain is not processing this kid just needs a Oline. Anybody who watched Colorado last year knows that Oline was one of the worst Online in college football history.

It will be interesting to watch the QBs develop in college this season.  Sanders and Beck are above the pack, but there are about 4 who could shoot up boards if they have a good season--and they have the tools.

I really like Smith, Houston's size---and he could be the dark horse.  Ewers has been able to keep Arch Manning on the pine-that is pressure and shows he's a dog (competitor).  The Penn State QB (Allar) like Smith is a big guy who could move into round 1 if he looks good against OhioSt, USC, etc. We have seen it before--some unknown going into the season.  Milroe at Bama is also poised to get some love.   Sanders is disciplined and seems to read the D well--does not have a great team around him---I would rank them Sanders/Beck (tie) and Ewers. After that, we have to see if someone steps up--and I think they will.  Watch Smith--he is my long shot favorite.

Dude, Arch Manning was a true freshman last year, coming out of a small private school in Louisiana. Sarkisian will not be able to keep him off of the field this year if the Spring Game was any indication of what Manning plays like.

if he does, it would only be because of loyalty to Ewers. When you watch them both, it’s pretty obvious who the better quarterback will be.

I would take Manning over Sanders right now in a heart beat as well.
