Just got through watching it. See I was very upset when it happened but now I am over it. It would have been great to win it but that was just a great Super Bowl to be apart of. We were so close.

But does anyone know what Delhomme said to Harrison after he bumped into him after the Moose TD?

Honestly, this is the FIRST time I have watched this game since the day I saw it live in Houston. I never wanted to have witness that game again. This is very exciting for me.

Thanks to TiVo I have it taped....Kasay just kicked a 50 yard FG at the end the first half. 10-14.

First Half: Pretty tight game in the beginning. Battle of two stout defenses, offeneses seemed a bit jittery at the start. The longest shutup to being a Super Bowl (both sides). Panthers did a great job holding them in the redzone, ending in a missed 31-yarder from Vinatieri. The Patsies tried to get tricky on us, but Witherspoon (just think if we kept him) gobbled up the reverse for a 10 yard loss, pushing the Patsies out of FG range. Seemed like their offense was beginning to click though, as Brady drove down the field again, but big Shane Burton nicked the FG attempt. What a play!!! It took another fine drive from Brady and the Patsies on the board with a TD strike to Deion Branch, 7-0 bad guys. As the Patriots defense seemed to be beginning to man handle Jake and the O (completing just one out of his first nine passes, sacked three times, and fumbling once) Jake held his composure (he seems to always not, but seems to somehow do, strange strange man)

I hope he does the same this year...

    • I find it more like now that I have been forced to watch Young so much it isn’t as much of a shock to my senses.   Desensitized they call it.   For real, it just looks normal almost now. Where the first game of 2023 I wasn’t sure what I was looking at it was so out of bounds for NFL type play. I literally couldn’t make sense of what I had seen vs Atlanta that first week.
    • Lynch in SF. Great is subjective but he has done pretty well there.
    • Sure, except Stroud has the ability to stretch the field with deep passes. He did that often last night with ease, but couldn’t connect on many due to being flustered by the defense. BY9 gets flustered and can’t throw screens, let alone even think about any deeper passes. Stroud would’ve changed the franchise and done more with the situation last year. My thought at least.    the hope is that last year showed tepper that he needed to step back from football decisions. There’s a positive in most situations and maybe we’ll see a new tepper in the near future.
