Picking a RB coming off an ACL in the second round for a team that needs practically everything was such a head scratching luxury pick.

Gurley?
But imagine if Gibbs was taken last year then any of the top3 qb’s year and two 2nd receivers 🤣

The last small bit of " draft give a fug " was near gone after that trade for the the injured brooks. The one spot you could say " well at least there's some depth there " was RB with Hubbard, inches, and blackshear. Even had penny in here and you know some UDFA would have turned some heads too...

It felt like the last straw, then to hear Morgan go " The RB are important to us ", ........well for the past 20 years the league has de-valued them Danny boy....same for your 3rd round pick......

Brooks needs to break some panthers records now to make people forget. My friend said a couple days after the draft- "Dan just drafted like he was still playing".. too true. Should have just kept fox or even RR along fuging Marty herinay, cause it felt just like it they were still here but the team is much worse.

I was thinking of Willis mcgahee, but he had a great RB build.

Not surprised.  In fact, I hope they take their time and ensure he is 100% before he sees the field.  IMO, his selection was always about what he might do for us next season and for a few years after that.

💯 accurate.

No rush to bring him onto the field.

I think Sanders probably ends up producing the most from the offensive rookies this season.  Legette needs time and Brooks should be very carefully handled, no need to rush him back.

Sooooo the least talented team is going to get nearly Zero form its first 3 picks..........better sign Dan to a contract extension!!

At least with Hurney we would get the rd 1 pick right. We can’t even do that anymore

JPJ was right there for the taking and would have solidified the center position for 10+ years and would have contributed instantly.

Instead, we're already struggling with botched snaps in practice and getting bullied up the middle already

It's almost like spending all that money on guards might not even make a difference because the fastest route to the QB is right through the center. Maybe promoting the assistant GM from a 2-15 team might have been a bad idea.
