What happened to Matthews? I really liked him in the draft and he had a promising start in Philly then just fell off the map after two or three seasons.

Dunno. He hasn't really played much since he switched to TE in 2021, tore his ACL in 2022 49ers camp. Also 32 years old now

The kid we signed to replace Sullivan is Curtis Hodges. He was an UDFA two years ago, by Washington. He didn’t play much- He has spent the majority of the past two seasons on IR.

A Big, Tall kid at 6”8 , 255lbs.

Doesn't look like he did much in college either

Isn't Matthews the former WR for the Eagles who is related for Jerry Rice?

Yeah, he went over 800 each of his first 3 years then started getting injured and bounced around not doing much

    • I imagine starting Cade Mays has everything to do with him already being under contract next season and Christensen not. If they feel like the performance level is similar, they probably want to see if Mays can play well enough down the stretch to win the starting job going into next season. Plus, yeah, Brady Christensen is an excellent depth player given he can play literally every position on the OL at a solid level. Personally, I'd like to see us extend him regardless just for that alone. He might legitimately be the most versatile OL in the league.
    • I’m hoping Moton will retire a Panther. He’s been a steady presence on that OL for years and it would be ashamed to let him go.
    • Hunt would be having a pro bowl season if he was on a playoff team. And Lewis will be here another 2 years with that contract he got. I don’t think at this point guard is an option in the near future.
