It's just Madden and nonsensical in general, but Johnson and Thielen being that close in speed (let alone TMJ being a bit faster) is extra nonsensical.

So now shoehorning BC in at center, eh? Almost like going into the season without an actual NFL-proven, or at least NFL-experienced, center might have been a decent idea...

    • Some of this stuff is factually incorrect  like the cap next year, but regardless I’m giving him the benefit of the doubt. If you want to blame him instead of Fitt, that’s fair but I’m taking the other approach as it seems he is trying to rip the bandaid off and fix the Fitt junk this season by taking it head on. I liked what he did this offseason
    • The most consequential summer of his life to this point and he's like "meh time to chill". If that's how he wants to live his life hey all the best. That's not your franchise guy though. Never will be.
    • He does later mention his morning workouts and there are videos of him working out with ISM and later TMJ with Mingo. It was a dumb quote/comment for him to make and doesn’t help his case but he definitely worked out over the offseason. At the end of the day it didn’t really matter.
