George Shinn is about to sell the Hornets

i don't wish harm to shinn in any way, because he does get credit for having the vision to bring a team to our city, it was just apparent that once the nba became more about the have and have not's he should have sold the team then. he paid 32 million for the team so any thing he gets is profit. New orleans no matter what is going to be a hard market to break even much less make a profit, even with a deep pocket owner

I heard he paid even less than that. Owners who make their sports franchises their only business, usually suck.

i totally agree, that's why sports teams are more like expensive hobbies not money generating enterprises

Our founder took alot of criticism for having other business interests outside of his NBA team and was always portrayed as "not caring" because of it. When in reality, those other business interests are what is paying for a Larry Brown, a Gerald Wallace, a Stephen Jackson, and enticed a MJ to be apart of this. If he had just depended on the Bobcats for income and to keep the lights on, he would be in a world of poo. Even with losing tens of millions of dollars every year, our founder still continues to invest millions into our Bobcats because he didnt put all his eggs in one basket and is a much better businessmen than he's been portrayed locally.

bob doesn't receive enough credit for what he has done right, i also believe he will continue to put money in the team if needed

i don't think they have the money to take over the team and not sure if his relationship with them is all that good

He has a pretty good relationship with his kids. One of them works for him now. The other two do their own thing and have no interest in the Hornets.

You do realize his kids went to High School around here and a lot of people know them? Yes, because i heard through the grape vine i know all these intimate details. Any dumb ass would know the one kid works for them just by watching the draft. He is the one that picks for them. You're amazing King T.
