Xavier Legette wasn't happy with himself, which could be good news

he didn't say he hadn't read it. he said he needs to dive into it more.

the guy is a rookie. he's figuring it all out and he will.

he won't settle for how he is now. he's committed to getting better. that's the only real take away there is from this.

The Panthers trading up for their typical 2nd round WR in the 1st would be the most Panthers kind of pick.

I miss having a good WR on the roster. That window was way too small post Smith drought.

So everyone but himself said he had a good day. He holds himself to a very high standard and expects more from himself. And now that is a bad thing? Am I missing something?

To be fair, I've not seen anyone that said he had a good day.  Any tweet I saw from anyone there or local sports media said he didn't have a catch at all and didn't look especially focused.

We’ll find out. Some guys are practice heroes some need a real game to get going. I thought I read that he was a full out at practice guy so maybe that doesn’t apply. We’ll find out soon enough.
