you don't even need a KOS if your special teams is competent. even with Lloyd booming kicks into the end zone, our opponents would still get to the 25 or better because our ST coverage was atrocious. Good thing they recognized that and are trying to improve it this year.

I'm tired of KOS, I want to see a good kicker brought in to be developed into Kasay's replacement. Darin Gantt said that they have no intentions on developing him, they just brought him to do kickoffs.

with all that said, I hope this guy turns out to be a great pickup. you never know, tons of great kickers were UDFA's.

Leigh Tiffin isn't very good. Just because he's the best kicker in a weak class doesn't mean he's good.

They're aren't any Kickers in this draft worth a hoot, A few punters could probably be somewhat decent but no kickers.

this guy has only been signed to give Kasay a break during pre season. The panthers have no reason to keep him on as a kicker or kick off specialist.

was it just me or was lloyd a lot better the year before at touchbacks. it seemed like he didnt get near as much touchbacks this year
