how could u say he is a underated player if he continuously lets his team down in the playoffs.

You're right. For a second there I thought football was a team sport.

Were it not for McNabb, the Eagles would not have made the playoffs all those years. Last year was the first time he lost a first-round playoff game.

Go look up all of the records he holds and tell me he's not underrated. He's top five in the league, for sure.

But you can credit an excellent veteran defense and veteran offensive line which McNabb has always had up until this past year.

I am not trying to bash Mcnabb here but I think you will be hard pressed to find many people (if any) currently within the Eagles organization (players/coaches) that are upset by the Eagles decision. Rumor has it there was an unofficial party of sorts in the Nova Care center (Eagles facility). Many people are relieved he is gone.

I am by no means questioning the trade, or saying that is was wrong. It could be a Farve, Rodgers situation.... time will tell. I am only responding to the idea of him being so overrated... To me that is poo

He was a good QB but he could just never win the big one. See him going out kinda like Marino or Kelly, but at least those guys had teams that were loyal to them.

To be honest, I think Philly saw what happened to the Panthers last year and took preemptive action. They don't want to wait until McNabb's skills fall off to where he is losing games and screw up a whole season like the Panthers had to go through with Delhomme. I say it was a just move, but could end up looking really stupid.

lol, but the difference is, McNabb was a pretty good QB before he tanked. Jake was pretty average.

Im trying to figure out why people are saying McNabb let his team down in the playoffs. um huh??? even last year McNabb had ZERO help his receivers couldnt get out of coverage. no run game. Defense was non-existent. vs. Arizona once again Defense was horrid. Its crazy talk. McNabb has had his bad games but you can't blame the Eagles playoff loses on McNabb

For me, he's been dissed his entire career and never fully appreciated by the asshole fans he's had to deal, terrible recievers, and a dumb poo for a coach. i hope he kills them twice a year for the rest of his career, jmo.
