I still think he'd be an awesome fit here... Bulger has NO arm, and I don't think he'd be of much service if Moore isn't what we think he is going to be.

If they'll take the compensatory picks we got, that would be awesome... But, I think the Raiders will pretty much try to outbid anyone in a trade b/c of their lack of talent at the position.

Bulger hasnt had a injury free season in 3 years also. Campbell has only been in the league for 4 years. I say give them a 6th rounder if they take it.

I doubt we will trade for him unless it is a future pick or a sixth rounder. He has some utility as a quarterback but won't be a mentor or might not be comfortable as a backup. If he were he might be a good choice. Given Buffalo, Oakland and a mystery team, I can see why he wants to go to Carolina. I also doubt we pay him that much either. If he is willing to work for 3 million or so we might have him but not if he wants starter pay. We are going to pay Moore a big chunk of change next year and won't want to give that much to Campbell to sit the bench and learn a new system.

People seem to think that Moore is gonna somehow forget to be a good QB or something but the fact still remains that he is better then any cast off we can get. Campbell has had his shot and blew it major and he also wants to compete for a starting role. The fact is if we wanted that we could have just kept Jake. I think we will sign Josh McCown back if he dose not get picked up and thats the way it will end.

I'd be thrilled if we got him for a sixth.

I'm down with Moore starting next year, but I'm not of the opinion we shouldn't have some competition on the roster. Certainly if Moore went down, Campbell would be a great No. 2.
