I was shocked to see him on stage considering I thought he died about 7 years ago. I walked by the TV and did a double take and was like WTF?

Seriously... my wife and I discussed the fact that if he fell out and died right there singing we would not be surprised. After the song, looked like he had trouble catching his breath.

I remember seeing him sing a duet of Up where we belong back in the 70's. I was only a few years old but it stuck with me because that performance was the first time I saw someone under the affects of drugs/alcohol (or maybe that is just how he sang)......it was like he couldn't control his arms. I remember asking my dad if there was something wrong with him (In a disability way like MS or CP).

surprised that Crystal didn't win actually...but I am happy about it. Great singer, but annoying as well. I'd never buy her album, one or two songs is all I could take of her!

Was a weak season in my opinion, but good on Lee for winning it.

it will be key to find a replacement for Simon. they better hope its good, because Ellen, randy, and kara can't hold my interest for a whole season. I think Diddy could do well, hes brutally honest when he needs to be, and definitely knows the business.

This season really lost my interest for some reason....quit watching only a couple of weeks in. It will be interesting to see who they get....Elton John, Howard Stern, Diddy, who knows......going to be hard to maintain momentum that is for sure. Better be someone huge.....like Hasselhoff.

I like her as a personality but I didn't think she was a good fit for that show for some reason. Admittedly I didn't watch much though.

and I agree....I don't see Idol lasting much longer but I thought the same thing about Survivor a few years back.

I think I saw the same duet! He kept holding his arms awkward, shaking, and just looked strange. And I thought the exact same thing.
