Schefter: McNabb to Skins; compensation unknown

Well at least the Redskins will make it to the playoffs this year, very likely to the NFC Championship (sarcasm) game but that's where there run will end, McNabb will be the same player in Washington as he was in Philly...He'll Choke...But I'm sure with him at QB Santana will look like the receiver from previous years...
From this...

...to the NFC Championship game? They lost to the Lions, THE LIONS!!!

At best, I can see the Skins being a wild card and being one and out.

Great move by the eagles... The skins basically sold their 2nd and 3rd round pick for a one year rental. It is almost a guaranteed lockout after this season and while the eagles are reloaded with talent the skins are oft with a 35 year old washed up qb who cost them two good picks

It's gonna be funny watching McNabb run for his life behind the JV offensive line the Skins have.

It blows my mind that they would trade him to a division rival. I'm trying to think of another trade of this magnitude between division rivals.

Eagles fans will finally learn to appreciate McNabb...

Well, I wouldn't go that far. Campbell has gone through so many different playbooks year after year, and he actually improved each year. Despite how bad his offensive linemen made him look, he's actually pretty good. Though not anywhere near as good as McNabb.

Well I know Campbell is a better player than Carr lol I meant from the standpoint that the general public is pretty much tired of Campbell which is sorta sad because he was put in a position to fail similiar to Carr.

It's funny I went to visit the Redskins Message Boards, and they are not as happy as I expected... #1 concern is that Mcnabb will not be able to do much behind their very weak Offensive line, Also they seemed to believe they were going to make a play for Bradford. Overall about 60% of Skins fan seems to support the trade while the other 40% disapprove.

Damn Andy Reid must really hate McNabb... If you thought Philly was rough on him before, watch this season...

And to give him up for that cheap?!?!? Unbelievable. I don't ever remember a trade of this magnitude within a division.

With Mcnabb's age they were not going to get much more for him...

I don't think a early 2nd round pick is cheap... plus the skins also have to resign him. Then they also get a 3/4th next year.

It's a good deal if you were all ready planning on letting him walk next season when he became an UFA, and you feel you all ready have the replacement of your roster.

Thanks #5 for all you have done....glad you aren't getting stuck going to the Raiders. I just hope when you do return to Philly this year, you are welcomed with the standing ovation you deserve (and not boos) but leave with a loss.

Odd he went to a division rival but it sure will be entertaining when these two teams play each other this year and that is why I watch football....to be entertained.

Now, I can only hope that Kolb turns into a good QB in this league. I am willing to go through a year or two of growing pains.

5 picks in the first 3 rounds this year should help build a solid team for him in years to come.

Good overall move for Don, The Eagles, and the Skins if you ask me.

Why are you all bitching at the eagles giving him up for so cheap? The Panthers gave up Peppers for absolutely nothing. McNabb will help a team like the Redskins, he wont save them, still he is easily worth a 2nd.
