Now if only he can become one of the most prepared regular season coaches, so he can show off how good he is in the post season more often.

All I can say is every time he makes the playoffs they go to the NFC championship..... Pretty interesting, but that's only the 2 times they've made the playoffs.

I saw that, too late. But we can agree that we, and he, will be there again in about a week or so!!

that's helluva stat.. I'd be curious to see those stats stacked up against some of the greats we all know and love.

Every time we go to the playoffs, we go to the NFC Championship. (And in a week, it may happen again)

And those years we don't can be discounted as having that damn injury bug..

the first year of Fox's tenure he took a 1-15 team to 7-9, which could have been 8-8 or better if not for Kasay's injury and several QB injuries. He gets a pass for that year. Also give him a pass for going 7-9 in the superbowl hangover, injury riddled season.

I actually like the Panther's plan of avoiding salary cap trouble by letting some people go and grooming their replacements so they are contending every other season if not every season; and not drafting by need and getting the best players available. I'm fine with them going 7-9 every other season and 12-4 the next.

So far, Fox has been great when it comes to playing a team for the 2nd time in the play offs.
