Everette Brown Interview

i've always felt ath once the game slows down a bit for him he's going to be dangerous. the guy is just sick coming off the line and does a really good job of anticipating the snap.

i'm really looking forward to what he can do the next couple years.

260lbs is actually a pretty respectable weight. Brown is only 6'1, while Peppers was 6'7 185'ish(give or take a few.) Brown is a Freeney-style player, and Freeney is the same height, and only 268lbs.

Mathis, who plays on the opposite side from Freeney is only about 245 and he's not exactly a scrub either.

BTW, Peppers is probably closer to 300lbs than 280.

no more spinarooni?

Well if he dose what he said then it means more spinarooni's.

I feel he can be a good player and put up double digit sacks. Really Peppers had more help and guidance in Rucker then Brown ever had in Peppers.

I see brown having a 6-7 sack season...

Sounds about right. Thanks for not being an ultimate homer and saying he'll fly in and have 15 sacks.

He'll still probably have a limited role(coming in on passing downs, filling in for Brayton/Charles Johnson when they're tired, etc.) I think he'll show huge improvements this year though.

I saw him getting 10 sacks this year before even reading the interview... I could care less about those. He's explosive and seemed to figure out how to use it better as the season went on.

All he's got to do is get shoulder to shoulder with the tackle and he's got a sack.

Let's see it on the field, kid. You showed promise last season. I always lol at people that get hyped up over an interview. What else do you expect him to say?

My goal for him is eight sacks.

Because he could've not have done the interview at all.

The wrong ankle, huh? I guess will increase his speed by working with his other ankle. :D

Seriously, that was one botched sentence.

That actually might have been what he meant, lol.

I think Charles Johnson has double-digit sacks this year.

I wish this were true but we say it every year and it dose not happen. He has all the skills but something is missing. He is def good at the run though. I am also wanting to see what Taylor dose. He fell off the depth chart last year but he had a promising rookie year.

I just don't think he was going to do much with Peppers in. They had to get Brown some playing time last year as well, especially since it was likely Peppers would leave.

I think Taylor could be a great situational pass rusher, but I just don't think he'll get his shot here, sadly.
