Game 75: Bucks vs. Bobcats

The red hot Milwaukee Bucks are in town tonight at TWC Arena to face our Charlotte Bobcats. Led by center Andrew Bogut, rookie sensation Brandon Jennings, veteran journeyman John Salmons, and former Tarheel Jerry Stackhouse, the Bucks have played the best basketball in the NBA since the all-star break. A win tonight on our home floor will not be an easy task against this well coached scrappy team. We will need big performances by our bench tonight as well as good defense from our PGs. With only 8 games left in the regular season, a win tonight puts us at 40 for the season and inches us that much closer to a playoff berth. GO BOBCATS!!!!

It is going to be a very tough game, but I dont think it is a must win.

A loss isnt that big of a deal, but a win would be a huge confidence builder.

I honestly believe we pull this one out tonite, possibly a game winning shot by Stephan Jackson. You heard it here first.

I just want this team to continue to "bring it" night after night. Their biggest weakness, as Gerald put it best, is that they have a difficult time showing up with the level of intensity they need to succeed, unless they play against clubs most critics believe they should loose to like the Cavs or Lakers.

When we play teams like the Lakers, we play at 100%!!!! Against, lesser teams, we fail. I know Milwaukee isn't the 'Nets (who we also struggle with), but it's one of those teams we know we can beat and should beat.

Carlos Delfino (neck, jaw) is expected to play for the Bucks Friday night against Charlotte.

No word on if Delfino is going to play a full complement of minutes after three games off, but it's nice to see him back. Owners were missing the bajillion threes per week that he offers. We're reasonably confident he'll get enough burn to be worth using tonight.

Stephen Jackson (hamstring) will try to play Friday night when the Bobcats play the Bucks.

Jackson strained his hamstring in practice on Tuesday and played Wednesday, though was visibly limping. Assume that he will play, check back before tip-off just in case, and hope that he doesn't aggravate the hamstring.
