Could labor unrest cost Panthers Kalil?

Panthers RB DeAngelo Williams and C Ryan Kalil are among a group of NFL's best young stars who are in contract limbo because of the labor unrest in the league. That unrest could ultimately cost the Panthers to lose Kalil without compensation, even though under other circumstances he could already have re-signed.

What? Sounds like more chicken little BS to me. What the article i read boils down to is they won't make as much when they sign. The OLINE and running game are our biggest strengths NO WAY either Ryan or Dwill go anywhere. We have the cap space and regardless of those that think JR is trying to field a team cheaply they are not gonna let go a leading rusher and the core of our OLINE.

Sounds to me like nobody really knows anything. So why not write up some poo on a blog.

Well, it gets people talking.

Come on folks, the FO and leadership of the Panthers haven't changed. They still build through the draft, and like to keep their own. I don't know why anybody is getting upset, or crazy over players not getting extended yet.

Why should they get extended? Seriously.

They are under contract. And I don't blame the Panthers for holding off on major contract extensions when the future of the CBA is still undecided. It will work itself out.
